We have a small network - wired not wireless, though we'd like to use wireless too - linking the net, half a dozen PCs, our server and a couple of printers. The existing router, which is connected to a standard domestic broadband/telephone line, is dying, or at least it's not very well. We'd like to replace it.
Can you give any guidance as to the easiest type/brand to set up and what specifications we should look for. We seem to be able to get basic kit for about £30, but could spend a lot more, is this justified? Many thanks
I work for a youth centre in central London and am looking to develop a policy for the use of IT/Computers, e.g. what sites young people can access etc.
Can you suggest any funding streams? My position as Project Co-ordinator is funded until March 2009, this post was part funded by our local council, but this will disolve in April 2009 with a new single unitary authority.
We are a completely voluntary led group in a community centre which was an old school, we have very old computer equipment, which is not suitable for our needs, we have become a uk online centre but require funding for a whole new set up i.e computers networking printers ect. We have regular users of the centre who are very keen to learn computers in a relaxed and friendly environment and at their own pace. We live in one of the most deprived areas in the country (which can be verified by our postcode) Can anybody help?

I have windows XP on my laptop and am unable to install Flashplayer. I have tried many times and the flashplayer website doesn't help me at all. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
