I am writing on behalf of a community association. During our last meeting a discussion arose regarding our lack of a senior youth club. So I'm writing to ask if you can steer me in the right direction to get the information below. I was wondering what the requirements were to run a youth club for over 12year olds. We currently run a junior club, but have no youth leaders to run one for older children. what is required to become a youth leader? Legalities of taking children offsite, to a playing field or on outings, insurance, volunteer:child ratios etc. Are there any training packages that would help us to encourage/motivate this age group?
