Do you know of funding for disadvantaged BME youth fron London to have a weekend break in the countryside
I am writing on behalf of a community association. During our last meeting a discussion arose regarding our lack of a senior youth club. So I'm writing to ask if you can steer me in the right direction to get the information below. I was wondering what the requirements were to run a youth club for over 12year olds. We currently run a junior club, but have no youth leaders to run one for older children. what is required to become a youth leader? Legalities of taking children offsite, to a playing field or on outings, insurance, volunteer:child ratios etc. Are there any training packages that would help us to encourage/motivate this age group?

We are looking for ideas to get local youth involved in the community. We would like to carry out an audit/survey to find out what the local youth would like to get involved with. Have you ever come across a similar survey/audit?

Dear Sir/Madame, I am writing from a registored charity in west central London called Coram's Fields. We run an open access youth programme for 13-19 years. At least 60% of our users are at risk of anti-social behaviour and exclusion. We had 124 individual users in the last 3 months. About four years ago we received funding from the new opportunities fund for about 16 Dell computers. These computers are now running extremely slowly and we have been informed by IT support that the hard-drive may burn out is some of them very soon. We are now interested in other sources of funding to update these computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Jeff Moore (Coram's Fields Youth centre manager)
