when typing in Word, or express, every time I type a punctuation mark such as @, etc the cursor jumps up a line and inserts the typing there. It is very confusing and can get quite messy for touchtypists. It makes typing an e-mail address quite difficult as you have to cut and paste back into the correct position. this is a fairy new problem, it never happened before and I haven't installed a newer version of word. I have word 2007 and want to draw a horizontal line from a text box and then a downwards arrow from that horizontal line. If I draw a line with underline and then add a downwards arrow by inserting a symbol and make it bigger it then does not match up with the horizontal line! Can you help? Also, how do I draw a vertical line?

We are a charity offering support to bereaved children in Berkshire, we need to raise around £165,000 annually to maintain the current service. We currently use excel as our main database tool. We need a database to record supporter details, mailing list info, donor info, client info etc.. We are in the process of researching a more efficient, easy to use database software package, I'm aware that Raiser's Edge is used throughout the sector but this is too large and expensive for us. What product would you recommend for this size of charity?

I'm about to carry out a survey within a community. Normally I wouldn't think about use software but this might be quite a large survey and complex analyses may be required. Any thoughts on, relatively, simple software solutions. Thanks

We are a local charity in Torquay. We help with Counselling, Advocacy and we also teach disabled people how to use Computers. Just recently got some funding for new Computers, The trouble now is, we could only get Vista and most of our software is not compatible. We desperately need to upgrade our Lunarplus magnification software, On contacting Dolphin we were told that the total cost would be £2409:00, I'm at a total loss what or where to go next, any form of help would be most appreciated.

Printing gobblygook We have a networked HP Laser Jet P2015d that connects to the network via a HP Jet Direct 175x server. We have our own print server. Some times it prints fine. Other times it prints gobblygook. Any ideas?

Can I check how many times a user has visited a website, at what times and for how long?

Whilst we promote adult supervision as the best filter, things sometimes go wrong. We did have the use of a proxy server with filtering from our ISP but this is no longer available. Do you have experience of an easy to use filter that works reasonably well with average 5-7 year olds.

Hi We have an Access 2000 built database but some of my users have Office 2003 Professional and while they can open the database they can't open any of the records. So, I want to downgrade them to Access 2000. However, some of them like Outlook 2003 ( even though it means they can't easily hotdesk of course ). Is it poosible to install Office 2000 versions of everything apart from Outlook and then install Outlook 2003 on the same PC? Many thanks Mike
