You recently answered me on how to retrieve my outlook express inbox which has just vanished. Thank you for your answer but this has not had the desired effect - all settings were as they should be. Do you have any other suggestion?

My Outlook Express inbox has suddenly emptied itself. Everything else is ok, items sent, deleted etc. but the inbox is empty. Any suggestions as to how to retrieve it?

When we receive emails Outlook Express adds them to a previous email sent by that person and we have to trawl back through the emails until we see one in bold and click on the + sign. How do we stop this happening please? We would just like emails to come through in date order.

How do I stop outlook express attempting to compact e-mail folders, when closing down? It says it is compacting, which i don't want it to do and then comes up with a programme is not responding message.
