Why won't a page print from my web browser

I am a volunteer trainer in our local comunity centre and when using the Ukonline training package MY GUIDE on some of the modules when the users complete a series of modules on a particular subject, culminateing in a quiz score result and they press print it Freezes the screen and then says that the Internet explorer is not responding. Resulting in the user having to restart the process from the Login stage? Any ideas as to what might be going wrong. We use laptop computers with wireless connections to both the Internet and also printer.
